I'm sad to say that I have to part ways with my beloved 1988 T1000 Auto Sleeper 1.7 petrol, " Campee" who I have owned for the last 10 years. Financial circumstances are forcing me to sell, but that means that someone else has the opportunity to create their own memories and adventures with her. First, let me tell you about all the great things about Campee, registration E197 LFH. She's MOT'd until the end of November. I had the welding done that needed doing after the last MOT and I've not really driven her since then. She's only got 56,000 miles on her and has never let me down when it comes to the engine. The tyres are virtually brand new and have hardly done any miles. The inside is all original. The 3-way fridge is in good working condition and lights easily (I've just had it refurbed and checked over), as is the hob and grill. I had the gas tested recently and that's working fine and is safe. I don't use the gas boiler for hot water, but the water pump works perfectly fine. It has the much sought after Propex brand gas heater which works too, however, it does need a more powerful leisure battery as it starts blowing cold air after a while as the leisure battery is basically just a small car battery. The passenger chair swivels round to create more space during the day and both seats fully recline to make a very large bed at night. The area up-top can sleep a couple of children, or an adult, as my partner would sleep up there diagonally with no issues. She still has both original tables (large and small) and the original charming woodern sink board. However, I do want to be transparent with potential buyers. The bodywork is mainly good for her age but some bits need attention, and there is rust around the windscreen. Although I've put some tape around it to prevent water from getting in, this is only a temporary solution (although it will last for some time in my opinion).
